As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Twari, you'll be at the forefront of building a revolutionary social discovery platform. You'll work on complex problems like infinite scroll performance with thousands of images, smooth animations for vibe transitions, and intuitive gesture-based navigation. Our frontend isn't just a UI, it's the core of the vibe-first experience.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain the Twari web and mobile experiences using React and TypeScript
- Implement complex UI interactions, animations, and gesture controls
- Collaborate with designers to bring vibe-based discovery features to life
- Optimize performance for image-heavy feeds and real-time updates
- Build reusable component libraries and design system primitives
- Work with backend engineers to design efficient data fetching patterns
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of frontend development experience
- Expert knowledge of React, TypeScript, and modern web APIs
- Experience with complex state management (TanStack Query, Zustand, etc.)
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization
- Experience building responsive, mobile-first interfaces
- Strong design sensibility and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience with TanStack Router or similar routing libraries
- Background in image processing or visual applications
- Experience with WebGL, Canvas, or advanced CSS animations
- Contributions to open source projects
